Personal pet peeve of mine in comics such as these, but why does this religion use a cross? Christianity uses it in reference to Jesus and his crucifixion, so why would these religions from another world use use it?
It's both lazy world building, but also somewhat insulting to the culture you're blatantly taking the sacred imagery from.

Not that I myself am particularly insulted or anything, like I said, it's a pet peeve.

How the fuck does that river at the beggining works? It would only make sense if there was a hole to the girl fit in. Because a small rock wall wouldn't hold up for long.
