second chances are always good but even tho he didn't seem like the worst father (just from this chapter) it's pretty shitty for there to be pressure on the son to repay a family debt even if it is Korean/asian culture of 'close' families, imagine the guy at the beginning being a huge troll and the debt being paid off faster, only for the father to start gambling or do more 'risky' things and being a piece of shit anyways XP
