Seems like I overestimated, badly, the effect of Yeon's actions. Based on this chapter it looks like the Ten Families probably couldn't care less about what they think of each other. That being said, what would prevent a few of them forming a temporary alliance to crush a single one, which annoys too many others and isn't considered too dangerous? The two brats supposedly tie Baekri with another of the families, but seeing how those two are hopeless villains, I exceedingly much doubt that bond is worth more than a pile of dog feces.
