I Became the Husband of the Cult Leader of the Demonic Sect

This caught my interest as the counter to all those "I become the wife/daughter/mistress/second niece 2.5 times removed of X" manwhas out there. Up to chapter 6 so far and it's not bad. The pacing is faster than average but still easy enough to follow, especially if you're familiar with the ever-popular "Murim" mythos. It doesn't really waste any time with worldbuilding off the bat in favor of more action, choosing to expand the lore in parallel with the plot. The artist clearly likes to draw young men in a more effeminate way, though it doesn't translate to behavior per se so it's simply a style choice. The ladies are nice to look at; could be curvier but I'm not complaining!

The art is not bad. But it feels rushed. The novel, if it exists, is probably better.

Asura also does the usual lazy hardly-edited MTL.

Basically I don’t recommend it.
