I might be crazy but the three character in the cover looks suspiciously similar to a certain another manhwa like not even trying to be different, the plot is also quite similar. I wonder if it's the same author or something.

I also initially thought this was a different story. This one is either super generic or it basically does recycle an existing set of characters (maybe with some updates to characterization for plot purposes). Was it "Time to change the Genre"?

I've powered through about 20 chapters waiting for an actual plot to develop but this series almost needs a Slice of Life tag with how slow it's progressing. Sure, they constantly allude to there being interesting things in the characters' past and there must be SOMETHING interesting that happens down the line for the actual novel this universe is supposed to be about.

But it's hard. I struggle with the tropes that seem to be common with these romance types, where all the drama comes down to people not communicating at all, or at least not obvious, simple stuff. And making weird assumptions to overcomplicate things for drama. I'm not expecting people to be perfectionist robots here, I just want something worth the time I'm investing.

My hope is that at some point we'll get past the "i'm getting to know you for the first time despite us being a family for years" stuff that has been pretty much the entire story so far. There's supposed to be magic at least, if not monsters? I don't even know! I want to know. What I don't want is to read the 1,000,000th time that everyone in this family is so amazed at how cute their mom/dad/wife/husband/child is.

Also! What is the deal with these mom main characters that have absolutely no difference from teenagers having their first crush. I'm setting aside some expectations for the amnesia but please tone down the virginal innocence a little bit. There are plenty of stories about high schoolers out there already so having something more nuanced or fresh would be nice.

I hadn't seen that specific one. I get the feeling there may be a few more copies running around beyond the ones you and I mentioned.
