This is why I like this protagonist. He's so ruthlessly cold and logical. He's not some bleeding heart wannabe hero Mc who uses his knowledge of future events to save all the lives that would originally die. Zion is strong and clever enough that he could've taken out those traitors and saved the rest of the idiot spear gang if he wanted to. Instead he opted not to, both because this event would light a fire in Rain to grow stronger and because those bastards were worthless. He even recruited a horrid monster. Zion will use whatever he can to further his goals, even beasts.
