No I’m saying the gender norms are perfectly flipped. If you want equality, this is not the story for you. It’s extremely misogynistic in it own unique Chinese way, like how childhood friend whom works in that corner shop is like a body builder in this gender flipped world. If she’s an only child (because china) and is working at her parents shop why isn’t her body the same on both worlds as activities should also be the same.

Read this up to ch62, and it's very disappointing. Thought maybe this would be like immortal swordsman in a reverse world, but maybe the mc wouldn't be so disappointing. But boi, was I wrong. The mc in this one is the most disappointing, wishy washy, go with the flow sissy ever. At least with the immortal swordsman he did improve, even if it was never enough. But this absolute waste of time mc, 62ch in is still the same lame,weak, push over.
It felt like this is a shoujo manga with reverse genders, but a very shallow one at that.
Didn't help that the mangaattack translators keep mixing he/she, men/women, either due to negligence or due to confusion idk. was hard to read at points on their site

Evolution Begins with a Big tree is pretty good in the later half of it imo, the art is getting better and if it wasn't for the stupid translator that mess it up and keep putting stupid political crap for some money and actually focused on translation I feel like it would be better ngl, I liked it pretty well, for the rest I don't remember even reading them or even touching them, I am interested in My Wife is from a Thousand years ago but that's about it lol.

I'm probably going to drop this because I can't read all the chapters without disabling my ad blocker on their site so it's a NO GO for me.

Made it to chapter 47 and im definitely dropping this trash. He wants to be a real man so bad but doesn't know how to say no and stick to it smfh. Plus that wei lady ruined the story already by just existing.

I enjoyed this simply because it’s a good premise held back by terrible writing. I think the main characters are nice and each have unique personalities and situations to go with them the guy has was cool yall say he was indecisive but he literally says he wants to be a real man and still be a gentleman that’s why he wasn’t completely cutting off any of the girls and you could tell he had feeling for all of them. But regardless I think the writing got better as the story progressed but it still had lots of plot holes one is I think you should’ve just made his alternate self in this world a college student. Cause it’s like you couldn’t get the ages right you establish him and his step sister went to kindergarten together but how is she already a self sufficient member in society with a stable career if they went to school together they she be only a few years apart. Like I don’t really care that you have two older women pursing a high school boy there’s been worse thing written and animated it’s just the obvious poor writing of it somehow his sister way older now when it was when they met he was 5 and she was 7 and we never got Wei’s ages but she herself couldn’t have been much older than his sister. But I’m rambling and that’s one problem I think another thing that hurts this story is it should have been a college setting to make the age thing not even a issue and truthfully I feel this being more sexually explicit story would have helped it have more substance and further develop the relationships of the characters you can tell you whoever wrote this wanted that at certain times but would just back pedal weirdly. I do like how you developed the characters tho over the course they each started to mature slowly in ways and even tho they still had a ways to go it seemed like it was going in the right direction and honestly probably going to a harem end the only way I could see this ending cause truthfully I think all 3 women deserved to be with hoa and it seemed you was in the verge of main him come to that realization. But I’m guessing you got bored or realized you had a lot of mistakes and didn’t want to correct them cause that ending was the most random and bullshit I’ve ever seen in any manwha ever you kill him send him back to his world and he’s married to Wei and she’s pregnant and that’s just it no explanation and the other two girls just don’t get anything. Like it’s up to authors to do what they want with their own stories but I feel if you don’t have the passion and drive to finish a story you started through to its end why start it you waste your fans time and your own. Cause even though it was bumpy you had something good here you could turned into something great but you just gave up and turned it into a disappointment. It’s always the unique man what’s I find that seem promising that end up being like this everytime
