I think Yoke wasn't swayed due to the accurate observations of Marquis and his compliments but by what he said about the mission: "Try to grasp the situation and gather some info without compromising your team safety and if you find another OP hidden boss no need to fight him, just run away with this OP scroll and bring us the info!"

If I was in his shoes I would totally refuse a mission to conquest the dungeon, but I would accept a mission to gather information and if I was allowed to run away from monsters that might wipe my party without bringing any negative repercussions to my team.

What a pushover. Has always had accurate measuring of battles and understands their strength yet is so easily persuaded with a little complimenting.
He knows the strength of his party members, not himself.
In his old party he was told to not involve himself in combat so it's only recently he's been so hands-on.
That's why he accepted when the marquis gassed him up, it made him believe in himself.

"The great me" Wow, this old man is an ore-sama type character? It's usually brash young ikemen types who fit the archetype.

Man, Yoke still doesn't trust his party members not to instantly die on him when he isn't looking? It's concerning. I thought he was done with sheltering them like some overprotective dad. Character development for Yoke when? He even gets an instant escape card for his party with that scroll but it took a pompous top aristocrat to butter him up so he'd agree.

Furthermore, the mission is "gather information" not "conquer the dungeon and slay the boss or die trying". Although it might have helped if the guild at least promoted his party to "B" before this clearly dangerous request.
