The question is. Where in the actual fuck can you reform or even rehabilitate the entire family in the medieval period? Even if it was a fantasy setting.

This is her favorite novel and her literal first thought is a rewrite where nothing in the novel happens. How in the world does an orphan relate to this story?

Also the Duke is her favorite character, yet he's the family head letting this all happen? His son doesn't know what tears of joy are. It's one thing to have an abusive mother, but he clearly hasn't been giving much affection.

Writer didn't think about world building when writing this. Had to add in a "no murder" rule for the house, after Vicen literally goes to murder her.
