so you telling me that in a world where gates can open up like this and suck in civilians, with previous incidents of this happening with multiple victims, they have no pre-prepared rescue plans in place for quick mobilization at all? they actually want me to belive it would take a week to organize a rescue of civilians where its a very obvious given fact that its a matter of extreme urgency to be able to save even just one life? the backlash of such extraordinary levels of incompetence and tardiness in such a situation would be on a level that can not even be put into words.
imagine if it took them a week to even start looking for people in a collapsed building? could you even imagine the level of shitstorm that would cause? it's unbelivable it would take a whole week even if it was teh very first gate to appear! i dont think the author thought this one through that much...
