It feels a bit silly. There isn't much of a sense of urgency when they're standing around in a circle introducing themselves. You'd think they would be as quiet as possible and hide immediately. Also, dragging the market manager along was dumb. The best thing they could have done for him was escape and send someone back to help him. They put all of their lives at greater risk, including the market manager. If they were to drag him around then at least one person should have gone to scout ahead to make sure they were clear to move. They made the highest risk, lowest reward decision.

May seem pedantic of me to say, but details like that convey suspense and narrative depth. Not nearly bad enough for me to drop it right off the bat, though.
