Her being alive would technically put her family in danger, as their value as hostage increases. But really, at this point in time, forget about securing the family, everyone have a hard enough time surviving themself.

I’m saying this now, but that old man with one arm is more awesome than most protagonists (I’ve read a lot of mangas so that’s saying something, but then again around 50% of those mangas were isekai garbage so whatever)
