My personal opinion is that it's a couple talking about their son, because Hiroki hasn't come out to them, and by having this talk among themselves, it gives dad more time to be accepting and not say the wrong thing when Hiroki is finally ready.

Technically not really outing. (1) she actually doesn’t know & is based on suspicion, (2) it’s hypothetical. Even if it’s close 2 it, it’s not rlly disclosing a secret. & this is important 4 planning & estimating how 2 act in the scenario. If dad’s a bigot, she can b tactful moving 4ward.

I appreciate this. It's not outing, she's opening up a hypothetical situation with her husband regarding their child. I think this is an important conversation to have, especially when she has concerns about her husband's previous homophobic comments.
