I get that, if you wanted to write "Age" out with romaji then "Eiji" would probably be the way to go, but it'd be nice to have some consistency regarding which spelling is used.

I've noticed that a lot of manga have a tendency of cramming tons of background and exposition into the first chapter, I guess the hope is that if they put enough content in the first chapter the manga won't get axed. I feel like it ends up causing the storytelling to become awkward because of the poor pacing, though
