Also curious, are these pages being snipped out from the original infinite scroll upload, perhaps with a script? That would explain why pages have the top of other pages left at the bottom, and perhaps why there's some JPG conversion and aliasing artifacts in some chapters.

The original is probably 相手, which can mean "opponent", but here it's clearly "other party".

the translators for this manga has consistently prove themselves unable to use context clues to use the right word for the right scene
