I know that this story type is prone to comic relief but they did the same joke 5 times in a row. It makes the MC seem like a moron or a coward that they would constantly stomach being humiliated by this crappy system. The system clearly isn't on his side since it continuously assigns missions to demean himself and ruin his relationships with others. Even worse is the rewards are trash and failures are just a 10 times worse version of what would happen from doing this mission. If I was continuously assigned these dog water missions that only serve to humiliate myself I would destroy my cultivation or self-destruct. No reason to suffer this dog shit system.

This plot progression also doesn't make any sense. The system seems to basically be omniscient so the mission MC was assigned seemed pretty clearly directed to get him to go to the demon realm but for what? So he could die and get revived because he's too weak since the system is worthless? Sure it completed the gain Gu Yue's affection mission but why does that matter when there's no reason it had to be completed that way.
