Lmao i hope his friend isn't too salty about him automatically being better at it than him. Even as a 'friend' imagine trying to be an actor for 5+ years or so, and your friend gets the part just b/c they tagged along with you (tho i guess it's better the judges acknowledge his 'skill' versus "Well ur acting is a bit stiff but you're more handsome than the last 10 participants so you pass this round" for an actor thing versus kpop idol)
