It misleads you into thinking this is a story about a POS becoming good, but unfortunately it's not. Just the same edgy manhwa garbage.

This is just generic isekai trash, although it is better than others existing in the same genre. I would have much preferred a story where we see Baphomet climb the tower himself and take over as the new dungeon boss. rather than the current story. Such a shame.

You know its funny how people keep crapping on manhwas and mangas being the same sh*t over and over again.

Sorry to break it to you, but every damn fantasy story of every drama is the SAME. The ending is the same sh*t! If you dont like it, go read a history book or something.

But for those who are curious, who dont care for those two comments above... this story is pretty well put together.

"I was the final boss" is a manhwa (Korean webcomic) that follows the story of a demon who ascends to the human realm after completing his mission in the demon realm.

In the human realm, he takes on the form of a human and begins to adapt to the human way of life, encountering various challenges and meeting new people along the way. As he navigates this unfamiliar world, he must also deal with the consequences of his actions as a demon, and confront his own identity and purpose.

as is always the case with these manwhas, it was pretty good for the first 30 chapters and or so and then the quality started to slowly drop. the idea of a boss monster becoming human has a lot of potential and the author does not cash in on that at all. also after a certain point the fight scenes become outstandingly bland and boring. my bet is some artist/author dude had a great idea but it got wrapped up in big company fast production bullshit.

Overall a very good read! The character build up is great and the side characters don't feel like just random sidekicks or stepping stones, they have their own past and future which is something i truly love since some manwhas tend to just have everything revolve around the main character only!Looking forward to season 2.
