My theory is Child abuser's plan had been sacrifice Giselle and shove the summoned soul into Viviana's body to make a rare mage with the magic-loved constitution but something went wrong and the soul took Giselle's body instead. Remember in the story MC read Viviana was the one cursed by Giselle, would also explain why ML was attracted to Viviana in that story MC read even though he hated Viviana
