I kind of hope that the FMC and the original family don't butt heads to much and be antagonistic towards each other from now on. It was satisfying seeing them lose the divorce case and learn their lessons, but I think it'd be a bit much if they (or any individual member) suddenly turn evil, and this includes the "main character" daughter who does seem like a good person, if somewhat self absorbed.

While that is one of the reasons, it seems she also wanted her to stay married to her brother because she both actually liked MC AND knew that her brother does too. At least that's the impression I'm getting so far, but like I said, I half suspect that they're going to end up making the adopted daughter full evil at some point, but it'd be refreshingly against the grain if they didn't.
