• She's dead and kind of a mysterious spirit
• She ran away after accidentally hurting him
• He learned she existed through his influencer/psychic little sister
• He went through a hiatus on his career so he could do a Training Arc to be able to see spirits
• She became lost in the streets and a group of zombie cultists want to revive the Evil Lord locked inside her - she ran away from them
• They found each other again and are living together
  
  
  Its a fun read, the character designs are especially nice
