Given his position, he would be force to go unless he have an excuse like self isolation/close door cultivation. Given his 9-5 aspect and need of relaxation afterwards, I doubt that will be the case. In a day and ages without electronics, how long can you last reading stored book, knowing full well that the sequel, food that is not hunger pill & other entertainment is right outside but you can't access them?

My guess is he will be there as a coach, and not an actual participant.
Even better then making sure you have time off is making other people do the actual work!
