My Queen Desscaras gets better and better every chapter. And she made a blood pact with Ichi so clearly she won't die (despite what the haters be saying). As for that "companion," we may have a new male witch? Probably not lol. Maybe they're not even a witch at all and they just box majiks for fun.

I'm not sure what you even trying to say (english is not my best subject), but I really like the idea that gender based discrimination is purely male toxic trate and woman just really wouldn't care if the roles were reversed.
I'm not saying that IT IS purely male trate, I just think it's a funny idea.

Same, feels like a guy who's interested in magic but doesn't have the capacity for it the same way. Just the other chapter we learned Dess had a little brother like that, so besides being set-up for her backstory and motivation and dynamic with Ichi it's probably intended to get us thinking about the world in such a way we'd be set up to be introduced to this new character.

(I wouldn't be mad at a buff lady witch or an anti-majik majik either though)

Buff tomboyish lady witch + going by Miss Osamu's style, she's either going to be one of the most motherly/caring women in manga or a complete hothead who's gonna protect and teach him. No inbetween.
