That or they were meant to bet their blood in some mahjong while in Tokyo... Hmmm...The Okinawa trio is also being stalked by a man in a white suit, but that's because they encountered an anomalous object that sealed their fate. Some real SCP shit going on in Okinawa.
Speaking of Fortnite/COD, when they wake up in the park and do their stretches and the narration does the "Ootsuki. Numakawa. Isawa." part, doesn't it feel like they're spawning from the lobby into the game? Was expecting a story of mistaken identify, with a twist where Ooshiro’s group would be mistaken for Ootsuki’s group by the black suits, and sent back to the underground by mistake
The two groups drinking at the end was pretty funny to me
Seeing them all walk around together, reminds me of a group of default skins running about in a Fortnite or COD lobby
I can't really explain it but Isawa is somehow the most socially-aware one in the group when it really counts. It feels like when both the Foreman and Numakawa are stuck on something, he really comes through with a better solution. He pointed out they've been taking advantage of Kimura in ch.144 (i tried looking for other exmaples but that's kinda it lols)Gotta love how out of all the doppelgangers it's Isawa who gets a profound philosophical question fun chapter, thank you very much! The doppelganger example panel will give me nightmares

This and the fishing trip. It might because Isawa doesn't have an agenda except for "have a good time", unlike ever-paranoid and cautious Numakawa and Ootsuki who's... Heh heh...Yay Foreman is back, and with such a wild chapter. I liked that they were able to get some moments of genuine suspense and dread before the big happy ending. I like this analysis of Isawa's character, too. He isn't as bound up in social illusions, so he can sometimes have the most incisive takes.
Also very excited about the Foreman cookbook! I hope it has the panko stir fry. That negative review... I dunno, I don't think they understand the mechanics of the souffle pancake, so I'm skeptical of the rest of their critique too.
