What I believe is going on so far is the family was in a car accident. The status of the Grandma, Grandpa, and the sister outside of the loops is mostly unknown. Tsubasa is in a coma and his mind is trying to either protect him from what lead up to the accident where the problem might have been the family problems that were shown such as the dad losing his job and possible affair, the mom possbibly kidnapping the possible affair's child and her bulimia, the grandfather's Alzheimers. With the sister going out on dates with older men is possible but could have been figmented. The mom and dad have been dreaming being connected to Tsubasa but since he got both of them to slowly face their realities, I don't know if they are able to see what is currently going on. The Grandma is pretending to have Alzheimers so they didn't realize it was the Grandpa or was trying to protect him from the harsh reality. This is what I think so far but then again each chapter is a twist.
