Is the story approaching the end? are the endless amnesia going to end?
Seriously...this was the story all along? I mean I guess it works out. But to unfck the story after that many loops and deadends it kinda just fall flat. The fact that it was the dad who was just upset thinking his parents weren't actually proud all along. The parents thinking they did enough praise, was communicating about wants really the "message" here? Idk, after so many weeks just feels like it isn't enough for me to compare to the authors other works.

If that's all, it will be very dissapointing.
You don't make so convoluted amnesia + inception like story to just explain it with - Character with daddy issues used special elixir to forget about his trauma and make others have connected/same dream to forget about their traumas too.
And he somehow has control over the dream? (not explained how it works yet.)
