You're using logic for an anime and manga. After three years of training Saitama punches out some of the most powerful beings with supernatural and godly power and break reality.

And in this one the goddess gave them a holy item that the sage tries to analyze while he trained for millions of years in a couple of seconds from the Sage's pov. And this is the first chapter with no idea what he has been doing since he has been drawing on the tree with it.

And I have seen characters who learn to cut space and concepts with basic training with less training.
Saitama didn't only do those workouts but also constantly fought monsters risking his life in battle. Constantly pushing himself over and over again in life or death battles is what broke his limiter. And anyways humans are just built different in the one punch man world considering you can like crab a bit too much and transform into a crab monster. Or you can legitimately believe you're working out so hard that your skin turns to Iron.

I’m just saying you cannot use logic when it comes to this because they have their own rules. And people use that as a reason to say that a manga or anime is bad and compares it to another anime where the characters' feats are as ridiculous for how it happens.

Saitama trained for three years with a regular training regimen without rest, this kid trained for one hundred million years swinging a sword without rest.
What sword? He was swinging a stick...

At least if it was a sword he might build some muscle, but a stick? Yeah don't even the muscle memory would be of much use.
