Honestly, her life isn't even bad. She's just going through the typical "highschool student uncertain of their future" thing.

I mean, that's part of it, but not the real issue. Her mother is overly controlling. She's telling her "you've had your fun, now it's time to go back to reality" in this chapter. But that isn't the main issue.

The real issue is her severe depression. She doesn't even want to be an idol - she only did it because after her dad left she needed something to look forward towards and followed her childhood dreams but just found herself hiding her thoughts and feelings and putting on a smiling mask. She recognizes if she quits that she is nothing and no one and is suicidal. Her issues are from self esteem at others who are naturally talented, envy of their healthy outlooks on life, abandonment issues somewhere in there, and fear of the future as you said.
