Like can someone explain why more authors are starting to add some sexual elements to their manga especially when it doesn't call for it at all. Like their are manga that talk about children having sex with adults are they are friends with benefits. Like they talk about her the person is a slut and where but we they talk about the fact she been getting raped, but it okay since she wants the sex,mind the fact she like 12. If you want to know what I'm talking about it's the Sasha manga

Well, that was awful (even having seen the spoilers). A bit extreme for how the story seemed to be presenting itself.
Not really sure how it could be seen as but non-consensual based on how she looked in that scene and her reaction.
From how her eyes looked and her reaction I presume she was drugged and didn't even know it happened.
It's believable that she wouldn't have gone (and possibly doesn't want to go) to the cops though.
She shouldn't be restarting her career, she should be seeing a therapist

It's not that they don't care about mental health care, it seems like they basically don't know that it's a thing. Have you ever, EVER even seen a psychologist or therapist even referred to in any Japanese work? I haven't.

I totally called this development as soon as the other idol girl was introduced, it fits perfectly with her personality, behavior and backstory. But I do agree that this is very jarring when you compare to the interactions of the main couple and even the art style. The idol girl jerking away and slapping the MCs hand when he tries to grab her shoulder and then his stupid chibi-style surprised Pikachu face just kinda makes it feel like the author's making light of her horrific trauma. It's pretty bizarre.

The only time I can think of it, is with a Stardew Valley (SFW) doujin, but that's because it follows the game's story where it happens and is not like we see in the story the therapist's work.

I hope the author has a serious plan and didn't do this in some kind of desperate move to attract more attention or to bring down the boat with him (Gal cleaning)
