can we get some chinese cultivation-related novel/comic with more braincells?
i mean, like looking at character diversity (personality, moral alignment, appearance and motives);
all i've seeing so far was - evil people ugly and scheming; good people handsome/beautiful + righteous... makes me feel like the Heavenly Dao limited the potential of these story.
Imagine a short psychological story with theme of Urban Spiritual/Reiki Recovery where cultivator MC gets chased down by an insidious higher-level Daoists for knowing their fiendish deeds; or a ancient time story of schemes where MC uses his posession magic to wreck havoc upon lives of the sect - incriminating others for his own gains; a tale of apocalypse of unrestricted freedom granted to the willing making others suffer — the mortal and the immortality pursuit...
I guess I've yapped enough here for venting. I think if the censorship had been more lenient, chances are high I'd had seen some more worth of praise from China.
