It's interesting this setting where a human is put in a place where they're not the dominant species and they're seen as pets or even slaves by stronger beings.
But I've seen two stories with this setting that just revolve around some asshole trying to fuck their legally owned spineless woman.
I can at least see in this one they at least mention that humans have no rights but the main focus is still some dude owning a traumatized, vulnerable woman that got Stockholmed into loving him instead of the more interesting problem.
But I guess I can't ask a story to be something it doesn't want to be. Good slave-master romance story, I guess?
