Wow, his mom really is just a totally irredeemable failure of a human being. They're not even trying to make her sympathetic in the slightest (unless this is supposed to seem sympathetic to the Japanese audience, in which case that kinda makes it worse)

Also this was... dumb. I know the last chapter was dumb too but the artist jangled their keys with sexy Dr Makoto and it distracted me. That's not here this time. It does very much feel like the author got the cancellation notice and just said "fuck it" in terms of putting effort into the remaining plot.

I do share the others disappointment in the pacing of this and the last chapter, a lot of things happened a bit too quickly (and the plot did jump the shark a bit). It's obvious that the series was axed, but I prefer this approach much more to what the author of "Marumaru na Kanojo ni Dekiaisarete Imasu" did. Still very sad, I liked this series a lot.

But I do like that the reveal is so over the top dramatic, and it's not as crazy as this heist sequence last chapter.

Also, the mother is a real bitch, wow...

Sure, the chapter got dumb. But it's dumb fun! I like the classic shoujo poses. No measured and realistic drama here, it's time to go Bessastu Margaret on this bitch.

And we get payoffs! Mom shows how manipulative and stuffy she's being. Everyone in the room sees her snekkin' and her only move left is violence! We get the boobs reveal! What a cliffcleavage hanger! Kippei's sister is ready to burn the place down, too. Ichika is about to say "yeah, screw this family."

But let's not forget chapter MVP Wasato, who just fought 3 men like he's Kick Ass.
