This manga is a bit messy as it is nowadays, but it's still enjoyable.

I haven't read the Web Novel nor watched the Anime. Though, I'm planning to read the WN just as this finally gets finished. I really want to compare them and see if there are thing that better developed in the WN and viceversa.

Yet there are some stuff that confuses me...

The first thing that really weirded me out was the Siblings arc.

Like, the massacre attempt just happens so out of the blue, and they just added incest on top just because yes. I think just a loyal bond between brother and sister without any weird crap would make enough justification, but okay.

The Manaria arc left me... with bitter taste in my mouth. I mean, some rivalry between her and Rei didn't seem that bad as a concept to me, but what kills me is despite Miss Claire clarifying in earlier chapters that she was heterosexual (making it already a bit of a challenge for Rei to gain her heart), just for her to instantly fall head over heels for Manaria... It just doesn't fit in. Or at least it doesn't to me.

(Besides, just sharing my personal opinion about the character itself.... I really freakin' hate Manaria. I know that's kind of the point, but damn. She really deserves a punch in the face).

Then there's the appearance of Rei's childhood friend... Who just appears for about two chapters and then it's killed off in a very unceremonious way. None of the characters even cared, and they just moved on as quickly as it came.

Besides that, the story hasn't been that bad.

I'm by far a writer, nor do I have knowledge about the proper aspects of writing a story. I'm just sharing my thoughts about some discrepancies and things I didn't like here and there.

...Anyway. I really like this manga, and despite its flaws, I'll read it to the very end.

(btw. English ain't my first language, so if you see some mispronouncing and grammar errors here and there... Hope that serves as an excuse.)

Honestly, that nun is ruining the series. Just delete her and it's back on track again. Also delete the trans agenda and we good. Return to monke basically
What's hilarious to me is that the only people who would be even remotely worried about a trans agenda are closeted trans people who are desperately trying to stay in the closet.

lowk hilarious that they are just saying "delete the trans agenda" as if the entire series did not have a really heavy handed message about queer people in general

You have much to learn then lil pup 😂
World ain't ones and zeroes, people can enjoy various things and at the same time don't enjoy other things.

I personally am okay with gay people, but don't like trans people who push their agenda, conversely I am okay with futanari. As you can see, people can have varying degrees of opinions on things that seem correlated. 😂

You can, not like something and don't be the thing you don't like at the same time 😆

You're trying too hard to sound smart while just admitting you're a gooner. lmao

Remember when this was a yuri manga? I want to go back...
I feel you, when Rae was just teasing Claire all the time and we were all excited to see how their relationship would progress ! Unfortunately after the 'scale of love arc' I've been quite disappointed: for me their summer vacation was the perfect moment for these two to get much closer and maybe start dating, because ever since around chap.30 Claire hasn't confront her feelings towards Rae yet and I'm sick of it. Of course the revolutionary backstory is also important but what brought a lot of us here was the promise of a romance and as the series goes this promise seems to fade further and further away

I've red the end of the web novel and I know that Rae and Claire will end up together and adopt kids, however I fucking hate this kind of resolution: no development about their feelings at all and as soon as they get together, they want kids ?!? What pisses me off with this tropism in yuri manga and maybe romance manga in general is that authors end their story as soon as MCs get together, as if being in a couple was easy and no problem will occur ever after. Instead they should make them dating halfway through the story and show the difficulties they go through; nothing last forever but at least show us how they resolve conflicts and try to evolve together

The fanfiction 'In search of spring' was much more interesting in that regard in my opinion

The hardcore explicit yuri scenes are actually left out of the light novel to keep it pg. They exist on Inori's fanbox in english and Japanese.

There is a gap of time between the kids and them getting together, but it's not very long. They encounter two horribly abused kids in the bonus chapter of volume 2 and very quickly adopt them.

It may not be the yuri you particularly want, but the latest chapter where they agree not to give up isn't something I remember from the light novel. It sets up a very extreme situation later on where Claire gives up that vow and nearly gets executed. When Rae prevents Claire's execution, it finally has them really get together.
