Reading mtl novels has paid off xD.

So Mayuko doesn't go on dates because her husband is always busy with work, when he comes back she gives him a warm welcome but he is expressionless. She also doesn't get any compliments. And he's cheating.

I just saw the cover for volume 3. There's blood on her hand...hmm.

Ayahiko stopped being nice to Mayuko a long time ago before marriage, cheated on her, didn't even complement her although she still loved him. Even mentioning Haruka made Ayahiko mad.
Looks like she was broken a long time ago.

I'm having a bad feeling the editor will be in trouble, she seems to be interested in Makoto and Mayuko will act jealous, something she couldn't do because Ayahiko was more abusive, couldn't "step out of the line"... yandare mode, active.
