I wonder where things are going to go wrong. Now that I thing about it this relationship was always on thin ice. She's already starting to see inconsistencies within reality.
With his manga being serialized he's going to be a lot more busy with work. Will he get an assistant?
How is he going to even explain him leaving for work this often to Mayuko. I just can't see him juggling his manga and hiding his identity from Mayuko.
In fact what is his long-term plan here? I don't mean to act like his father and brother but it really does seem he doesn't have enough talent to be a mangaka or at the very least to be making a sustainable income from it.
Also what's his plan with Mayuko? His situation with her is going to blow up in his face if he doesn't seriously think of a way to deal with her.

Mayuko is starting to see difference between her delusions and reality each time they've together, but on other hand Makoto absence is making her depressed and out of "control".
Makoto inferiorly complex again, sure in cut throat business is hard to surface, but given the circumstances similarities of real life and the one-shot his work wasn't bad but overlooked. He still did a good job, now it's only to let Mayuko to read it.
Even Shoya and Morita cheer him on, despite his belief they drunk in their own success.
And of course Mayuko seen the news, remembered Makoto Kawarazaki as someone she used to know. Think she will start to judge Makoto now.
