Makoto finally got his shit together and got a part time job at 24/7, it's not like he could live off a mangaka wage if he isn't that professional.

Ayahiko had low self esteem my ass, he was abusing Makoto because he had mommy issues, she favoured him and released his anger on him, then on Mayuko but instead Makoto who fought back she couldn't because she made up her perfect marriage illusion.
Then when Mayuko regained her memories and fought back, he lost his perfect punching bag.
Well at least Mayuko felt happy because her abuser died, too bad for the driver who had damaged car and guilt for killing a piece of shit of a "human".
I don't like the way author made Makoto and Takagi let Mayuko deal with her regained memories alone in her apartment, sure Makoto brought her food but she should be watched over 24/7, they should take shifts because it's a goddamn miracle Mayuko didn't kill herself.
