Indeed, the manga adaptation is finished and has its own story conclusion. Meanwhile the light novel that it is based on is still ongoing. Therefore, the manga ending is different. My bias as proofreader, I thought it made sense, but if you think the English is too weird or confusing then let me know. I can think about changing it.

I dunno. It just comes off a bit misleading until you see the context. I don't really have a strong opinion though.
