Sure, the system said she can't tell him certain things, but I'd certainly try pushing and testing to see the limits of that.. This mission can easily be handled by stating "There is a powerful monster at <whatever location>, while I cannot guarantee, it is possible defeating it may help your escape" and then he'll willingly go there after properly preparing for battle.
