My thought is that Zhou Rong probably encountered the princess' crush in her previous life. It may even have been part of what kept her away. The question is whether Zhou Rong will want to protect Bai Man from suspicion or not. She certainly can't keep herself away. I love the expressions in this manga so much. It brings out their characters incredibly. I love the uncomfortable moment in the mirror where they're both thinking the same thing. This is such a great series, thanks so much for picking it up!
