I wish they had Henri do the execution like it went down irl. It would’ve been cool for his character arc cause at first his dad had to execute the king and now he has to execute the queen.

nah this was the right way. Henri and Antoinette didn't really have much in common throughout the whole manga and haven't interacted, this was built up from the prequel. I don't mind this change

i agree with lukenzo, it was very much building up to charles-henri executing the king and marie-josephe executing the queen… i mean they had a whole gay love story going on
