I hate the grandma, but I love the grandma. The way she commands respect and obedience just by showing up. They way they're all (mostly) eating out of her hand, they way she made Jean-Baptiste completely obedient towards. What a sick, toxic, amazing person to lead this family from the shadows...

And now, seeing her younger son break away from her clutches, she's scheming against him, to show him his place. I wonder how exactly though. What's her goal here? To make Charles-Henri perform so astonishingly, that nobody even notices Nicolas?
