It‘s like those mangaka have no creative bone in them. Always rehashing old ideas. And then they complain about A.I. „tAkInG oUr jObS“. If you would be creative and write/draw new ideas, A.I. wouldn‘t have such an easy time copying you lol

it's actually a shoujo because if u check mangaupdates, the magazine Comic Gene only serializes shoujo series and the selling point of the magazine is "shounen series for girls" so basically the stories will take typical tropes from (mostly) battle shounen series and make them more....girls-friendly if you will...they stated the magazine became a thing because a lot of girls in Japan read shounen...once you take a closer look it is actually quite obvious the target audience are girls because of some BL serializations like Sasaki and Miyano and male idols being on some covers of the magazine which is more typical for female targeted magazines.

Monthly Comic Gene premise is boys' comics for women. So shounen-like, but still josei.

yeah was expecting the colourful word the video was set in.
Also a relation between the MC and the little dragon would have been fun but maybe it come later as it seems Tobi To Ryuuko is a thing, but yeah the word and interaction between the two (in the post they do on social about them) where why I was exited for it.

Edit : I just realized the name of the FMC is also Ryuuko like the dragon girl in the clip... did they just redtape her or something ?
