Nothing unique but it seems like it could be half decent. Mimushi designs are pretty weak though, expected a lot more from the mom's insectoid form. I dont expect this to last very long though cause it'll just go through the cliche of MC protecting FMC from the org he's working for then her having to prove herself etc same formula

I'm really just gonna have to wait and see. There's definitely potential, but a lot of extra space that could either be a deliberate sense of expanded storytelling, or just the author not being certain how to proceed. Critter designs are, unfortunately, either confused or mundane. Perhaps that will change as the series goes forward.

I see this lasting the standard 20, but would love to be proved wrong.
