@SuperOniichan They don't look particularly chubby to me... but yeah practicing sports will make someone not super-thin, especially something like judo. ^^

@useless No Michi and Sanae are definitely on the chubbier side compared to others like Towa or Nagumo.

@SuperOniichan You're not going to need to be some kind of shredded Crossfit looking person to do judo. Here is an example of a Japanese women's team that won a world title a few years ago. Going by the raws the author does a good job of largely giving the characters different body types. It doesn't really have anything to do at all with liking a certain type.

@Suben Not gonna disagree with you on that; I'm just saying that I don't think they're particularly chubby (not a native speaker, so I interpreted "chubby" in an "unhealthy" kind of way, maybe I was wrong, in which case sorry u_u) or big. Many girls doing martial arts I knew had a similar body type, I think this comes from working on your lower body and lowering your center of gravity.
But I agree, having read further thanks to the Spanish scans, the author draws characters with different body types. And, from what I know, realistic ones. 'kinda refreshing, tbh. ^^

@useless @Suben I am only talking about visual impressions, because as I said above, I was not sure if this was intentional. In my family, all men were military or sport people and had a large physique, so it seems natural to me.
