Wait, if the stew has been reducing this while time, doesn't that mean Jan has been holding on to a boiling hot pot with his bare hands this entire time? 
Also, I'm sorry but high key Celine's apple dish sounds disgusting. I could maybe see it with the tofu, I would doubt it with the ground meat, but I cannot see any way salted egg would go with that. I've had a similar dish minus the apple, and I could never see it being sweet or sour.
