Grandma is right, they can't coast off of "Japanese style Chinese food", they'd have to actually start cooking real Chinese food now. Which is wholely outside the author's expertise
Wonder what's up with Celine's attitude, guess her "Chinoise Nouveau" wouldn't be able to stand up to her going to France against a real cook.
I cannot imagine a universe in which somehow Okonogi has become a competent cook, unless all those end of chapter recipes were canon, but even still...

Man, it's weird seeing Jan with his hair grown out. It ironically makes him look younger, and edgier instead of demonic. It's especially weird considering we've only seen him cry with that hair before. But man, he sure is the spitting image of Kaiichiro.
