But how do I check a user's lists?

but if I go to his profile I can't see it anywhere

The forums and main site aren't exactly that tightly interconnected.. yes, you'd need to look up their username on the main site

We're just too old school that we talk to others in the forum and, in case we don't have enough with a few recommendations, we check those same users profiles to see if they have lists.
