bro this is a gag manga, were you expecting actual writing?Ngl, such big cop out that maid actually didn't die. with an half-baked explanation.
She just sleep but no one actually can check if she alive ?
i also expect this is a turning point, that this work take the concept to new ground, open the door for some big character development or something. Maid could be reincarnation, the "villainess" kid could be waiting for her, that could make this brat have room for some really great character development.
turn out this is just an episodic arc, and easily the weakest arc by far. at least the previous is full of surprise and fun. now it seem predicable
Many silly story can push and grow beyond their original concept. and the previous chapter make me thought this is one of them for a secondbro this is a gag manga, were you expecting actual writing?

The explanation is not ridiculous, more like super lazyIdk about you but to me a maid being so absurdly overworked from a young age that she is immune to the enemy'sstandability was a funny twist that falls right in line with this manga's absurdist humor. What you expected to be a complicated conflict due to the nature of Noramoto's seemingly indestructible ability was literally just brute forced with zero thought. That's at least somewhat funny to me.
And so is no one checking to see if she was actually dead (we pulled out the Not Dead, Just Asleep), as that played with everyone's expectations of stories where usually the character is indeed dead, and it did so in a way that fits this manga's gag style.
I mean, is the explanation ridiculous? Sure. But I think that has always been the entire point, no? Or did we forget this is the same manga where trucks are summoned out of thin air?
By this logic you could say the same thing about literally everything that has happened so far, though. It's all explained away super casually because either someone has crazy powers that just work(tm) or some new character popped up out of nowhere from another world or pomera simply brute forces stuff with sheer will. The explanation is not ridiculous, more like super lazy
I know there was enough time in between the chapter releases for you to decide that she was going to actually die, but there was just no way she was actually dead. Like seriously, read through the manga again and tell yourself again that "you know, it'd make a lot of sense for her to die here."The explanation is not ridiculous, more like super lazy

this is pretty shit take. just because it doing B thing away from A, not mean it can't doing a C thing.“Grow beyond their original concept”
You mean turn into the same garbage that it’s making fun of? Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds?
All of a sudden, the Truck-kun stand manga takes itself super seriously and follows a generic shonen story, complete with a trademark training arc!
Like what are we doing here lmfaoo
