Yeah you can see even just from the terminally-online forum users here that this much rapey sexuality's too much, coming off of what WAS just a comfy twosome TSF adventure manga.

Shot themselves in the foot, artstyle's great and they have a good knack for comedy but only one of the two styles has the capacity to take off in popularity. You can be a kazuma all day but the rapey beats gotta be a one chapter gag at best and we're only halfway through the densest bit of em as is, next comes the selling-our-bodies-in-a-cum-soaked-ameteur-peepshow arc

Partly from the dude talking about "Embracing" like it's an actual special ability and not just a euphemism for sex. So it quite possibly is a special ability.

And partly from his girls seeming otherwise well-adjusted but seeing nothing at all wrong with how he treats girls he just met (other than the mage being jealous). Which is also a crazy red flag.

They clearly expect Chiba and Shiina to fall in line once they've been Embraced.

And so, I'm making the leap to assuming that Embracing is some sort of brainwashing effect. I wonder if Kazuya's "harem" actually understands what he did to them but it's a strong enough effect that they aren't able to care.
These are a bunch of wild leaps.

"Is it because I didn't embrace them?": This is just him thinking he is god's-gift-to-women and being unable to realize they don't like his attention, so he assume they are dissatisfied because he didn't give them enough attention. Also "抱く" (embrace) as an euphemism for sex is so common that sex is listed as one of it's definitions.

The girls do not see his two most outrages action, kissing Chiba's hand and putting them in dancer bikinis. The manga in fact goes out of it way to show them sleeping before the bikini bit. But most importantly them reacting to him being creepy doesn't help the joke, only stretches it out.

It was just so unnecessary, like, sure you can put some "antagonist" in there to give the MCs some challenges but not this, it's just not it
