They changed the information on their adventurer card. So this just made the whole point of him taking the mission from the guildmaster to avoid having his guild card identification void meaningless, because he could've just hacked it and falsified the information to begin with, avoiding the nullification to begin with.

with the dwarf guy dead, i guess they don't see the need to. i mean the main point they wanna go there is to show the dwarf king that the dwarfen can make something better than magic tool with the help of them 2.
edit : they do go there, just not straight to it i guess
